Paris born Guy Haircut began his career cutting his friends’ hair with a cheap set of clippers and a pair of kitchen scissors. While at university he continued freelancing haircuts, beginning to replicate the sharp techniques of Afro American barbers. Even while working as a high-end glasses designer, he continued his haircutting, spending much of his free time in Afro salons improving his skills and techniques.
In 2014 he launched the urban barber concept of ‘Nightclub Barbering’ at the Metropolis, Paris bringing him to the notice of the fashion press. Two years later he opened his first shop and finally move permanently in barbering
With an emphasis on the U.S. barber style, with his exquisite hair tattooing, fading and beard work, Guy brought a unique urban America style to the streets of France. His skills soon led to a demand for live appearances and demonstrations in the every blooming barbering market.
Working with leading distributor Jacques Seban, Guy has become a leading figure in the demonstration of barber tools and promotion of the industry.
In 2017 he starred at the Urbain show, Mondial de la coiffure and in 2018 he’ll lead Men’s Workshops at Coiffure Beauté Méditerranée in Marseille.
