Twice a year, designers, fashionistas, creatives, consumers, writers, and celebrities all gather in New York City to celebrate New York Fashion Week. This year, Denman has decided to partake in the beautiful whirlwind of NYFW. Denman supported Rise NYFW and MEFeater with their showcases this season.

Rise NYFW had their 4pm and 8pm shows on Friday February 9th. Rise NYFW is a collective space to support independent and emerging artists. Throughout the day, many different designers showcased their newest collections, interspersed with fantastic musical performances right on the runway.
The hair looks sported by the models this fashion week were created using Denman Brush combs and brushes. Denman creates tools for all hair types, lengths, styles and can help you achieve your hair goals no matter what they are.

An incredible hair team backstage took on styling a diverse range of models and creating fashion-forward, chic looks. Denman is an innovative brand that allows creativity to take the forefront so the brushes were all used for a variety of looks – including sleek topknots and buns, loose blowouts and waves, defined curls, big volume, and braids/plaits.

Denman also supported the Saturday February 10th fashion show for MEFeater Magazine, a platform for music, entertainment, and fashion. MEFeater proudly hosted their Galentine’s themed showcase, displaying collections and looks from Women of Colour in the fashion industry. The VIP gift bags included products from Mielle Organics, the main sponsor, and a D3 Original Styler Kyoto brush from Denman Brush. These swag bags got picked up quickly and are sure to be all the rage for the recipients
Denman Brush products also featured backstage for the hair stylists prepping the models for the three runway shows, and the design showcases throughout the day. Using Denman for all the steps along the way: wet, detangle, style, finish, allowed the hair stylists to create a wide range of stunning looks that were snapped up by the press.
As the perfect intersection between professional styling, trend forecasting and everyday people engaging in beauty and fashion, Denman was proud to have a debut New York Fashion Week this season and hopes to continue helping everyone achieve their hair goals!
